I Can't Wait Until New Year's Eve

Maybe this is a bit of a buzzkill, but I am just not into Christmas anymore like I was when I was a kid. It just comes at such an inconvenient and crappy time of the year. I mean for a college student married to another college student with no children, all Christmas means to me is more traffic, more stress than normal about my "i wish i had enough money to be broke" status, not to mention waiting for fall semester grades to come out...honestly i just look forward to cards with money in them so i can pay my phone bill and eat something besides ramen noodles (like ramen noodles with chicken).

New Year's Eve is what I'm excited about. I don't have to feel guilty about not having money to buy stuff for people anymore and they have to forgive me for the crappy/nonexistent presents cuz it's a new year. Plus it's a wonderful excuse for getting absolutely smashed with our friends. Not that we need an excuse but it's awesome to party with a purpose.
